Synopsis

‘Storm’ is an exciting family film, situated in historical Antwerp of 1521during the first years of the Reformation. Falko Voeten (12) is the son of Klaas Voeten, a printer who secretly prints reading material about the new faith which is strictly forbidden by the Roman Catholic church. Unintentionally, Falko becomes the object of a hunt for an important letter by Marten Luther, during which his father is arrested. Threatened by the Inquisition and aided by Marieke (12), a Roman Catholic orphan girl who lives in the underground sewers of Antwerp, Falko is caught in a race against time to save his father from death as a heretic.
