NIGHT OF A 1000 HOURS wins BUSAN AUDIENCE AWARD at Busan International Film Festival

NIGHT OF A 1000 HOURS by Virgil Widrich (coprod. AMOUR FOU Luxembourg) wins the Flash Forward Audience Award at the Closing Ceremony of the 21st BUSAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. The award is given to the film that is most highly rated by festival audiences. The award is endowed with 20.000 USD, granted by the BNK Busan Bank.10.000 USD is awarded to the director and 10.000 USD is awarded to the film's distributor in Korea. The film celebrated its World Premiere at the renowned BUSAN FILM FESTIVAL in the Flash Forward section. Running October 6-15, the festival was attended by an audience of 165.149 people this year.

The film will be released in Austria on the 18th of November. The release in Luxembourg and the Netherlands is planned for beginning of 2017.

The European Premiere took place on the 13th of October at the 32nd Warsaw Film Festival in Poland. The US Premiere takes place on the 21st of October at the 52nd Chicago International Film Festival.
