Désirée NOSBUSCH

Désirée Nosbusch was born on January 14, 1965 in Esch/Alzette, Luxembourg. She is an actress, presenter and producer, known for Bad Banks (2018), Good Morning Babylon (1987) and Die Jahrhundertlawine (2008). She has been married to Tom Bierbaumer since 2018 and she was previously married to Harald Kloser.

At the age of 12, she began her career as a children’s presenter on Radio Luxembourg (1977). She received her acting training at the Herbert Berghof (HB) studio in New York. In the 1990s, she became a presenter at international events, galas and awards ceremonies in Europe. However, she has appeared in numerous TV productions in the USA, Italy and Germany. She did not let the acting out of sight and was seen again and again in TV and cinema productions. She also perfomed the duet “Kann es Liebe sein” with Falco in 1984.

Désirée Nosbusch returned to the United States for further education, where she attended the Melrose Theatre in Los Angeles from 1995 to 1996. She received her training in directing and production for film and feature film development from 1998 to 2000 at the prestigious UCLA University of Southern California.
