	Jacques Molitor was born in Luxembourg on the 15th of February 1980. After two years of medical studies, he enrolled at IAD("Institut des Arts de Diffusion", Belgium) to pursue the craft of film. In 2008, Jacques co-wrote (with Xavier Seron) and directed his first professional short WITH THE DUST ("En compagnie de la poussière"). This story of a failed gay romance, exploring the intersection of love and death, was screened in the official short competition at LOCARNO. His third short film BONOBO (2009), a portrait of a man's self-destruction, shot on 35mm, was broadcast on channel France 2. In 2015, Jacques released his first fiction feature MAMMEJONG, a drama about a man-child who tries to sever the unhealthy ties that bind him to his mother to win the heart of a troubled young woman. His most recent project is the 40-minute documentary LISTEN, shot in Sénégal and Guinea-Bissau.
