2 Luxembourg coproductions at this year’s San Sebastián International Film Festival

CORSAGE and THE KINGS OF THE WORLD have been selected at the 70th Sebastián International Film Festival, one of the most important cinema festivals in Spain since 1953.

Directed by Marie Kreutzer, CORSAGE starring Luxembourg actresses Vicky Krieps and Jeanne Werner is nominated in the “Perlak” section among 17 other feature films. 

CORSAGE previously won in the official selection “Un Certain Regard” - “Best Performance for Vicky Krieps” at this year’s Festival de Cannes and was also part of the special presentations at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival which took place recently.

THE KINGS OF THE WORLD by Laura Mora is a part of the “Official Selection in Competition” in San Sebastián and is a coproduction between Luxembourg (Iris Productions), Colombia, Mexico, Norway and France.

The sound post-production for both feature films has entirely been carried out by PHILOPHON Studios. Pictastic/L’Imagerie  worked on the final image post-production of Iris’ coproduction.
